Heute gedenken wir der Opfer des islamistischen Terroranschlags vom 11. September 2001 in New York. An diesem Tag verloren fast 3000 Menschen ihr Leben. An diesem Tag stand die Welt still, an diesem Tag stand die Welt unter Schock. Journalistinnen und Moderatorinnen fanden keine Worte dafür und spielten im Radio und Fernsehen einfach nur den Song „Only Time“ von Enya. An diesem Tag war die Welt nicht mehr dieselbe. Unsere Gedanken sind bei den Verstorbenen und deren Angehörigen.

Today we commemorate the victims of the Islamist terrorist attack of September 11, 2001 in New York. Almost 3000 people lost their lives that day. On that day the world stood still, on that day the world was in shock. Journalists and moderators couldn’t find any words for it and just played the song „Only Time“ by Enya on radio and television. On that day the world was no longer the same. Our thoughts are with the deceased and their families.
